We offer a wide variety of products for the storm drainage market including Corrugated Metal Pipe, High Density Corrugated Plastic Pipe, Water Quality Solutions, Underground Detention, Concrete Headwalls, and other complimentary products.

Responsibilities:

  •  Recognize and/or identify potential issues or liabilities with civil drawings and how they relate to our products
  •  Coordinate with other departments regarding take offs, fabrications, size of load, delivery challenges and distance, etc.
  •  Collaborate with Sales Team on prioritization and support on-time delivery of estimates 
  •  Provide detailed estimates per the civil drawings and qualify items that need to be interpreted on the drawings to provide our customers with accurate, detailed and timely estimates  
  •  Provide our sales teams/ client with value-engineered solutions utilizing our products by analyzing plans, and preparing value-engineered solutions for our team to pursue
  •  Overtime be able to recognize and analyze market trends and competition from the civil drawings
  •  Collaborate with engineering and sales team to provide accurate and best solutions for estimates based on the civil drawings 
  •  Collect key documents, such as plans, blueprints, technical drawings, county specifications and project specifications and organize folder for easy retrieval of files for estimates 
  •  Keep informed of industry changes, participate where possible in organizations directly involved within the storm drainage market
 Competencies:

  •  Numeric ability and reasoning
  •  Ability to prepare submittals and small fabrication drawings 
  •  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, high proficiency on Excel, ERP systems and Engineering software
  •  Capable of understanding and following business processes
  •  Very detail oriented; diligent
  •  Possess a basic understanding of business functions and processes
  •  Strong ability to learn, self-starter and driven to perform at a high level
  •  Helpful and willing to go above and beyond the minimum required
  •  Knowledge and/or field experience associated with utilities, construction, storm drainage and water quality
  •  Punctual, reliable, and good time management 
  •  Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and plan drawings
  •  Strong data compilation, analysis, and interpretation capabilities
  •  Good verbal and written communication skills for dealing with clients, contractors, suppliers, SEC teams, etc. 
  •  Capable of planning and prioritizing multiple estimates due over a designated time period with accuracy and efficiency
